I didn't get my weekly shounen jump today. It sold out. くやしい！！

On a better note, I went for an interview for a Japanese company and the interviewer was pretty funny. He was so random it's cute. And then I went out to meet Cheryl, Warren, Nick and Jojo. So it was a pretty productive day except for that damn Shounen jump.

I finally finally checked out Ki-Shun, a second-hand shop selling Japanese language books and mangas. It was pretty close by to the place where I was having my interview. Located at the basement of Hong Leong building at Raffles Place, do check it out, the prices are amazingggggly cheap. Of course you can't expect to find a selection like Kinokuniya but I got mangas for like $3 each when its selling like $10.50 at Kino.

I think I am gonna be visiting that place quite often from now on. They have a website too, but it's in Japanese. If you can read Japanese then check the site, they regularly update new books or comics that come in according to genre. Oh, I forgot to mention, the comics I got are in like pristine condition. http://www.ki-shun.com/

All that's left now is for me to check out Bongout cafe at Robertson Quay but it's so far from an MRT station.

Dear friends, sorry for the lack of updates but real life has been biting my ass ever since my final year project started. I think I might be on a slight hiatus till March. Thank you to those who sent me messages. Much love.

Sorry this is so clipped but as of now, I have officially gone without sleep for 39 hours, drank 9 cans and 2 cups of chilled coffee and 3 red bull to keep myself awake. I will update with more interesting stuff soon I hope.

Oh my god. Did anyone watched the Formula 1 Brazil race?! Hamil just had a close shave and won the world championship with one point ahead of Massa!!! I'm totally celebrating right now. The Brazil race is truly a heart stopper man. The race seemed fine with quite a bit of excitement here and there in the beginning but at the last 30 seconds of the race was where the heart attack was!

So Massa is leading the race but for Hamilton to win the 2008 world championship he needs to be at at least fifth place if it is assumed Massa will get 1st for the Brazil race. Everything was fine with Hamilton at the 5th place until the last lap, an annoying bugger by the name of Robert Kubica (who, by the way, was at 11th position) had to go and cut Hamilton, thus creating the opportunity for Vettel to also overtake Hamilton, leaving him at 6th position.

I swear my heart just stopped at that moment. And then at the last five seconds, when Massa had already crossed the finishing line and the Ferrari team were all celebrating cos they thought Massa won the world championship, Timo Glock (who was at 4th place) suddenly slowed down and Hamil overtook him! What a life saver man. It was really hilarious to see the Ferrari team all celebrating and jumping and all and suddenly the gloom spreads over them and they stopped moving. Even I almost couldn't believe it myself.

Hammy's my man of the day! Oh, Nicole Scherzinger was also there supporting Hamil. For those who might not know, she's Hamil's rumoured girlfriend.

Anyway, I almost missed Formula 1 tonight because I was busy watching and rewatching We Got Married. It's really an interesting episode, much much better than last week's 15 minute feature of my favourite couple Joongbo.

So the Joongbo parts started with the continuation of where they left off last week, Everland! They were still eating the black bean noodle (Jjajjangmyun - I don't know how to spell it!) and they were just basically talking.

HJ: Who's coming? If they are your friends, I'd like them. Since Buin is pretty and nice and birds of a feather flock together... so they'd be too.
HB: I can't set my friends up with them (implying about the age difference) I shouldn't.
HJ: Why not? I've really improved because of you
HB: What should we do after lunch? Let's play game... And whoever loses have to walk up the stairs to go home instead of using the elevator. Good idea...right?
HJ: No it's not. We pay the same HOA Fee so why not use the elevator? Let's show aegyo. (cute act)
HB: You are telling me that you've never seen my aegyo?
HJ: No.
HB:Not once? Ya! Sorry I say ya when I am riled up. I've never looked cute to you?
HJ: No. (I love the way he nonchalantly says no.) There were times I saw you acting cute and liked it but I've never seen full fledged aegyo.

HB in black room: I don't know why he's so obsessed with aegyo. Does he like cute girls? I wonder if he never thought I was cute? Pi! I am a little pissed.
HJ in black room: There were times when I saw the cute side of her. But if I said yes, then she wouldn't do big
aegyo so I lied.
PD: when was she cute?
HJ in black room: Actually there were a lot of moments. When she goes...eiii shillang~ If she just did aegyo the first time i wouldn't have expected much and let it go but since she's putting it off so much, I have high expectations and I am going to see her aegyo for sure

HB: 2nd bet is about doing what the winner wishes.
HJ: Anything right anything!!
HB: No... let's do sometihng else.
HJ: Spit to make it final. YES. Anything.

At the basketball game
HJ: Anything I wish!!!
(HJ is very good at this one and he's very fast.)
HB: Slow. Slow... Come on, do it slowly.
(HB is not as fast and she's clearly losing.)
HJ: (singing) "There is little time and ball doesn't go in~"
(44 vs 34 HJ wins)

They are at the shooting range:
HJ: Do you want to do this too?
HB: Whoever wins this one wins the whole bet.
HJ: No can't do that.
HJ: Go ahead. Oh you missed!
HJ: (He hits the target but it doesn't fall.) Why doesn't it fall?
(The clerk tells HJ what's easier target.)
HJ: Thank you for the good information.
(MC Jung Hyung Don comments that Hwang Bo fits more with the rifle.)
HB: Can I sit here? (To get closer to the target)
(With that HJ does the same thing. When HB is shooting with the rifle Alex in the studio comments "She looks like Angelina jolie.")

HJ in black room: I gave it my all to win. I don't usually go up on the seat but I really wanted to win. I almost felt bad to the themepark owner.

HB: Hyunjoong ah.. I really don't want to do it (aegyo)
Clerk: If you shoot once and if it hits the target even if it doesn't fall then you win this time.
HB: Thank you. Shillang you go first.
HJ: Wow yea! I hit it.
(HB hit it too.)
MC Lee Hyuk Jae: It looks like I am watching Beijing olympics.
(2nd round - HJ's didn't hit this time.)
HB: If I hit it this time then I win?
HJ: Aeeei... (trying to distract her)
Clerk: She hit it!!
(Everybody cheers for HB)
HB: Should I have this?
HJ: Yes

HJ: I lost!!! Ahh!
HB: So our wish cancel each other out right?
HJ: No just one. Do you want to go to safari and do a bet who can stand in front of the lion longer?
I am a little tired... Do you want me to give you a piggy back ride?
HB: No, there are so many people here.
HJ: It's tiring to walk? Come on up. Ahh.. You are heavy.

HB: Don't say I am heavy. (covers his mouth)
HJ: You said this was your wish. I have a wish that you need to do for me too... angtal.
subtitles says: HJ gave her piggyback ride so her wish gets cancelled out and he would get his wish.

HB: Ahh I want to get off. I can't do angtal.
HJ: Since there are so many people I should have relaxed expression. Hello guys!
HB: ?maybe she said aren't I heavy?
HJ: No you are not heavy

HJ: Every step I take, dark circles cone down 1mm. No, I can do it. Ah safari world is here. Wow I didn't know it was going to be this far. We are here!
(Then they both collapse.)

Black room HJ: I thought it was just going to be about 200m. I was a little taken a back because it was so much
farther than I expected. And she didn't try to get off at all.
Black room HB: Yea I've come so far. I've worried so much.(of our relationship)I think I've always drawn the line even as I was trying to open up. But I felt today that it's not necessary. What's going to happen in the future is in the future. I think it's wrong to draw the line just because I am afraid of what's going to happen in the future.
MC KSJ: Why is my heart fluttering?

(At home)
HB: It's finally here ta da.
HJ: It looks good why did they omit it? It's totally pretty.
HB: Which side do you like better?
HJ: Right side.

(HB is handing him sweet potatoes.)
HB: You know how to do this right?
(HJ helps HB)
HB: Did your brothers say what kind of girls they want to meet? It's really not a set up or blind date. It's just eating dinner together.

HJ: But then why is your skirt so short?
HB: It's just you and me now.
HJ: The minute they ring the bell you are going to change?
HB: Yes of course.
HJ: Call! It's a wise choice.
MC Lee Hyuk Jae: Why did he say call?
HB: When it's just the two of us it's ok right?
HJ: Yes. Who are you calling? Your friends who's coming tonight?

(HB is calling the girls and the ring back tone is 2pm's song "10 points out 10" and HB asks. "How do I rank out of 10?")
HJ: 11
(HB talks to WG and they said they'd come over.)
HJ: Who are they? Why are they calling you unnie?
HB: I told them to call me unnie.
HJ: You are lying. They totally sound like they are afraid of you.

HJ: Buin....
HB: Yes?
HJ: No, nothing.
HB: You called me sweetly... Why?
HJ: You know we played the game... Basketball. It'd be embarrassing to do it in front of your in-laws. Do it just in front of me, before a lot of people get here. Just do it once.
HB: Explain to me just what angtal (another word for aegyo) is.
HJ: It's easy. (Demonstrates with the cucumber) "This cucumber is sooo delicious!"
HJ: Just once.
HB: Do you want to see half assed not great aegyo today or do you want to see full fledge aegyo next week?

HJ: Both. You really don't want to show it to me? Do you really want to hold it from me? Does that take that much calorie?
HB: I just want to save it.
HJ: Don't save it. Give all to me. If not cucumber do you want to do it with scallions?
MC Jung Hyung Don & Lee Hyuk Jae: They've gotten soo close. They didn't talk much in the beginning.

(The van that carries Wonder girls is shown and the girls are getting off the van.)
MC KSJ: If they are meeting my husband and showed up in that short skirts, I'd never meet them again.
MC JHD: I want to go to Joongbo's next week.

HB: When are my inlaws coming? But anyways you are saying that I should change the minute they get here right?
HJ: Yes the minute the bell rings.
HB: But they are family so shouldn't it be ok?
HJ: You don't think it matters? OK, I will be wearing just undies then.

HJ: I'll help you.
HB: It's ok.
HJ: They are here. Come on, go change.
MC Lee Hyuk Jae: Wouldn't he want to show her off?
KSJ: That kind of comment makes women happy.
(Knossos disagrees...it only works when said comment comes from a hottie like HJ otherwise the guy comes off as a loser...LOL)

HJ: Did you change?
HB: Shillang, I pooped my pants. (talking about the awkward fit of her pants)
HJ: It's better. It's stylish.
MC Lee Hyuk Jae: He's really hiding her beauty.
HB: They are here. should I answer the door?
HJ: Yes you are wearing proper clothes. Open the door with confidence.

HB: Hello welcome!
(high5!)
Hyung Joon: Yo my sister, yo my brother!
MC KSJ: Ahh it'd be so cool to have them as brother in laws.
(HJ is showing charisma and totally acting tough infront of the little brothers. The in-laws brought gifts. Looks like alcohlic drinks.)
KJ: One bottle a night!

(HJ is giving the house tour.)
HJ: This is the kitchen. This is a vacuum cleaner and it's only a couple hundreds of dollars. Leave it alone.
(HJ is totally acting like the older brother. Very tough and kinda order them around.)
HJ: Come here, I am showing you the room.
Hyung Joon: It got smaller.
KJ: Why is room smaller?
HJ: We are having a hard time lately (financially).

HB: Brothers, you know I prepared good food for you but it's more important who you eat it with than what you eat.
KJ: Somebody else is coming here also?
Hyung Joon: Really?
(Then they high5)
HB: Prepare personal skills to make you appeal to the girls.
HJ: Practice the piano. (Pointing to the piano.)
Hyung Joon: It really is a blind date then?
HB: Well blind date is too nerve wrecking so I'd say just good introductions.

KJ: So they know that we are here?
HB: No...
HJ:Hyung Joon, practice your skills, you will get dumped being this way.
KJ: I am nervous I should drink this (it really was just a soda).
Hyung joon: I am going to sing.
HB: Shillang. I am serious you won't be disappointed. (with who's coming)
HJ: You already disappointed me once at the housewarming party (with bunch of older friends of HB).
(HB says stuff but can't understand due to bad audio quality sorry)
KJ: Hyung Joon, let's clean up.
Hyung Joon: When are they coming?

HB: Why are you here?
HJ: Nothing to do there.
HJ: (to KJ) You should sit over there why are you keep talking to me? I wanna be here with buin. You are not really a guest! They are going to act crazy from now. Totally... Get out!!
HB: He really has leader's attitude.
(Nice Pork cutlets are done... and)
HJ: (to brothers) Since it's hot you hold it. I will cut it.

HB: Shillang said Kyu Jong likes nice girls and Hyung Joon likes pretty girls.
KJ: Yea nice girls!
Hyung Joon: Why~ That makes me look bad.
HB: You know there aren't pretty and nice girls in the world.

KJ: You are... Hyungsoonim.

HJ: You guys are acting desperate to get married!

Hyung Joon: You know I really felt something here. Did you know that you guys are becoming more similar to each other? Personality and looks. You guys look good together.
HJ: Look good together (imitates Hyung Joon like a professional voice actor)
(And they all mimic voice actor voice... Deep and professional.)
HB: You guys play around just like this?
(HJ keeps on doing voice actor thing.)
HJ: When ladies come here give them hot noodles and on top of the noodles put eggs. If you like the girls
give them two eggs. Don't give her used fried sweet potato give her new one. (he's being totally silly
and speaking nonsense here)

Brothers: When are they coming?
(HB calls and accidently pushes the wrong button and calls the wrong person and voice at the other end is a man's voice.)
HB: Oh my God!
KJ: She called another guy.

HJ: Who is it? Buin....
HB: No it's not...
HB: Mom I am eating dinner with Shillang and brother in laws. Mom, my in-law wants to talk to you.
KJ: Hello. How are you? I hope you are well. Sis in law cooked us nice dinner so we are going to eat. Don't catch
the cold and I hope to visit you sometime.
Baby: Why visit her?
HJ: Why should you visit her? I should be doing that! What a weirdo!

HJ: If you like one of the girls then you should show a sign.
HB: When we are eating, if you like one on the left eat with left hand and if you like one on the right use the fork with right hand.
Hyung Joon: What if I use both (he's being greedy)
HJ: They are no spaghetti here (meaning that you eat spaghetti with two hands.. one hand spoon the other fork but there is no spaghetti here so Hyung Joon can't do that)
HB: If you liked both? Well let's check in the middle. How are you going to treat a girl? Are you going to be good to her?
Hyung Joon: I am not going to think of this place as a home of brother and sis in law. I am going to think of this place as a restaurant.
HJ: Why is our home a restaurant? He's weird! Can't you see all the electronics and our pictures?

HB: I know I set this up but it's up to you to get the girl. I can't really make it happen. I got the text. They are almost here. Let's count to 100 silently
Hyung Joon: Should we close our eyes?
HJ: I will count... don't sneak a peek, if you open your eyes I will poke with the fork....
(HB hits him before he finishes the comment)
HJ: 80!
HJ: Both of you close your eyes.
(And the bell rings but it's really just Hyun Joong)
HB: Don't turn around. Welcome welcome! Sit here.

Hyung Joon and KJ: hello!
Hyung Joon: Can we turn around now?
HB: 1, 2 , 3!
Hyung Joon: AHHHH!
KJ: When I first turned around the first thing I thought was wow big eyes!
Hyung Joon: Why aren't they coming?
KJ: I think I should be standing up since I am so nervous. I think my lifespan will be shortened because of today.
HJ: They are here they are here.. I hear the noise from the hallway.
(Bell rings!)
HJ: You guys... Turn around and stand here.
(HB opens the door..)
(WG walks in.)

HB: You girls look so pretty.
WG: Ohh smells delicious.
HB: Unnie why are you so late? (she's calling them unnie probably to "scare" brothers)
WG: We are totally hungry didn't eat dinner.
(HB sits WG down and goes gets the brothers and tell them to open their eyes after they sit.)
HB: First greeting's going to be awkward look directly in the eyes and say hello one two three!
(They are so shy and they can't even look at each other...)

KJ: Totally shocked honestly. I thought it was going to be Shin Bong Sun and Jung Shi Ah (from infinity girls). They are still girls but different girls so I was really surprised.

Hyung Joon: I really love you... I didn't know this kind of opportunity would come to me. I really really love you. You are the best! Oh my I think I am crazy!

Hello dear F-list, sorry I have not been commenting much for the past 3-4 days cos real life started kicking back into my life. School started and it's my final year project before I graduate so I am predicting that it's gonna be real busy over the next 5 months.

But anyway, what little internet time I have have been consumed by We Got Married. I got hooked onto this show belatedly and it's so damn bloody interesting!

My favourite couple in the show has got to be Hyun Joong and Hwanbo, dubbed as the Lettuce couple by their fans.

I didn't like them from the start since they were on the show only from the 8th episode onwards. At first I liked Andy and Solbi cause they were so sweet and all but after a while I got a little bored of the sweetness and then entered the Lettuce couple. While I didn't really like SS501, Hyun Joong and Hwanbo's awkwardness with each other was so interesting to watch and the things that boy said are really one of a kind. Since episode 8 I watched them with keen interest, more so than the other couples, because though they didn't show closeness/skinship like the others do, it was interesting, for lack of a better word, and amusing to see how they progress.

I laugh so much during their air time because the things Hyun Joong say is seriously funny.

HB: I mean... If I get reincarnated I will marry Hyun Joong again.
HJ: .....
HJ: That's too bad.
HB: Why? You're planning to marry someone else?
HJ: I was planning to be reincarnated as a lion. I guess you'd have to be a lioness then.
HB: HAHAHAHAHA

It's always nice to watch a show that cracks you up so badly that your brother who sleeps 2 rooms away from you comes into your room to ask if you've gone mad.

Episode 28 ended with Andy and Solbi departing from the show. I don't know if it's as Andy says, that it'll be trouble if the feelings and emotions gained from the show pile up, or as Glynis says, the PD got bored of them. But either way, hopefully the Lettuce couple won't leave so soon. Just look at Inyoung and Crown J! They've been around since epi 1. I hope the other two new couples are as interesting as the lettuce couple as the show progresses. Hwayobi is interesting as hell too.

Ahhh.. I have school tomorrow at 3 and a pin-up on 3 different design issues that each of us are supposed to tackle. It's 5 am and I have done nothing. I should sleep now and wake up at 10 to do it. Good night world.

Urgh, I'm so stupid I could just slapped myself. I was supposed to go to Malaysia today with my mom to meet my cousin and half an hour before the car arrived, I took a look at my passport and realized that the expiry date was in 2007. Ahhhh...

I bet about now that my mom, my bro, my sis-in-law and my cousin are happily having a sumptuous meal somewhere that was meant for me. My dim sum, my Korean food, my Japanese food, all gone. =(

OMG I so wanna watch this!

It's the Korean version of Antique and the trailer looks damn delicious. And Joo Ji Hoon as master! I cannot ask for anything better than this. And the cast are all yummy (more so than the Japanese original cast). Ahh, I can foresee myself either begging Connie they all to watch this or I won't get to watch this at all.

Ahh.. The downside of having no friends interested in the Korean world. The gayness in the trailer is getting me all excited!

I have a meme to do but I'll get to it tomorrow. Lol.

I turned on KBS World and DBSK's advertisement on Champaign playing on TV. Although I have the video in my computer, it actually feels different seeing them on the television. Lol. I don't know why but I am getting unnecessarily excited. For anyone that matters, DBSK on Champaign will be playing tonight 11.15PM Korean time! 楽しみにして下さい！

Am I the only one that thinks LJ is hard to customize? One hour into reading the tutorials, I gave up. And I've had this account since 2005? Or was it 2004? Too bad most of the communities are on LJ. If not, I probably wouldn't even have an LJ account.

For my 2nd post to my LJ, I am gonna rant a little bit about my disappointment for Cartoon KAT-TUN. In all honesty, I thought Kame and Jin were staying in the same room! Only to find out that it was in actual fact Ueda who looked a little like Jin from that little preview they showed last week. =3
